Exhibition Overview

The TBA art exhibition at EasyLazy Inn transforms a city hotel into an open and welcoming place for contemporary art. From September 10, 2026 to March 10, 2027, eight artists present works across the shared spaces from the first floor to the fourth floor. Guests can encounter color, characters, personal memories and visual stories while checking in, resting, meeting friends or simply walking toward their rooms. The project removes the pressure of a formal gallery visit and invites every traveler to discover art at an individual pace.

Art can appear when it is least expected. A work beside a staircase may change the mood of an ordinary passage, while a painting near a lounge may encourage a longer pause. Visitors do not need specialist knowledge or a fixed route. They can begin anywhere, follow curiosity and notice which image feels connected to the moment. This casual approach makes the hotel a creative transfer station where travel experiences and artistic ideas meet.

Meet Eight Artists

The participating artists are Yang Zhan, Lin Lian, Huang Xunhui, Hong Yin, Kang Yuxuan, Lin Zhiyu, Pan Yaoxuan and Liao Yuan. Each artist brings a distinct visual language, subject and emotional rhythm. Together their works create a varied journey through the building. Some pieces may feel playful and immediate, while others invite quiet observation. Moving between floors allows visitors to compare different approaches and build a personal route through the exhibition.

Visitors can scan the QR codes displayed inside the hotel to open the TBA art platform. The platform introduces the artists, provides information about individual works and identifies the floor where each piece is displayed. It also offers a convenient way to revisit a favorite work after leaving the hotel. When a visitor develops a genuine connection with a piece, the platform provides information for online collection and purchase.

A Hotel as an Art Space

Unlike a conventional exhibition room, the hotel remains part of everyday city life. People arrive with luggage, plans and different expectations, then unexpectedly meet art between practical moments. The changing light, movement and sounds of the building give each work a living context. A piece may look different in the morning, at night or after a day spent exploring Taichung. This setting encourages repeated encounters rather than a single formal viewing.

The exhibition is designed for both hotel guests and curious visitors. Take time to explore from the first floor to the fourth floor, read the available information and return to works that attract attention. Photography and observation should follow on-site guidance so everyone can enjoy the shared space comfortably. The experience is free and flexible, making it easy to include in a stay, a neighborhood walk or a visit to the nearby Yizhong shopping district.

The collaboration between EasyLazy Inn and the TBA art platform connects hospitality with creative practice. It gives artists another way to meet audiences and gives travelers a chance to experience original work outside expected cultural venues. More importantly, it creates room for surprise. A short pause in front of a painting can become a memorable part of a journey, and a spontaneous discovery can lead to a lasting interest in an artist.

Plan Your Visit

The long exhibition period allows guests to return in different seasons and notice new details. Each floor contributes to the overall experience, yet every artwork can also be appreciated on its own.

The hotel setting makes observation feel informal and personal. A visitor may spend only a few minutes with one work or choose to explore the entire route. Both approaches are welcome. The QR code connects the physical exhibition with useful digital information.

Visitors can remember artist names, locate works and continue exploring after the visit. By bringing art into a place of arrival and departure, the collaboration encourages a gentle form of discovery. Meaningful experiences do not always require a separate destination.

Sometimes an unexpected image, a quiet corridor or a moment of curiosity can become the part of a trip that remains most vivid. Scan the QR code for artist profiles, locations and purchase information. The exhibition welcomes a relaxed encounter with art during a Taichung journey.

8]("https://www.greenhotel.com.tw/wp-content/uploads/E5AE98E7B6B2-2.jpg")
