Architectural Highlights: A "Breathing" Urban Forest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Taichung Green Museum of Art was designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize winners Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa of the Japanese firm SANAA. Its core concept is to create a "library in a park and an art museum in a forest".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A light and airy appearance: Composed of eight white volumes of varying heights, the exterior walls are made of silver-white metal mesh, creating a light and soft visual effect that makes the building seem to "breathe" and blends seamlessly with the surrounding Central Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flow between indoors and outdoors: The design emphasizes blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors, with multiple entrances that make you feel like you are "strolling through a park while visiting an art museum", and the spiraling ramps inside create a "wandering" exhibition experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainable and environmentally friendly: Green Metropolitan Museum of Art is the first public building in Taichung to simultaneously receive the "Green Building Gold" and "Smart Building Certification" awards, embodying the spirit of energy conservation and sustainability.

As you enter the building, you'll see the 27-meter-high art museum exhibition hall, the tallest in Taiwan; turn around and enter the library, where you can enjoy a comfortable reading environment created by flower-shaped bookshelves and cloud-shaped partitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
