Attractions

Taichung Station has a history of over a hundred years since its full opening in 1908. Since it was converted to an elevated railway, the original railway has been transformed into a green corridor. The Green Sky Corridor runs from Daqing Railway Station to Fengyuan Railway Station, is 21.7 kilometers long, and the Green Sky Railway is one section of it, extending 1.6 kilometers north and south from Taichung Station.

The Sky Garden, which was renovated from an old railway, preserves the railway cultural heritage and connects the Railway Cultural Park, historical sites and station business district. You can stroll along the road from the sky and overlook the Green River and the old railway tracks. The multi-level landscape arrangement allows you to see Taichung from a different perspective. There are also many carved galleries along the trail, recording many memories of the old railway over the past century. The unique local landscape design has also won many awards at home and abroad.
