Tunghai University is a Christian university with a campus area of 1,339,531 square meters. It is the first private university in Taiwan and is known as the most beautiful campus in Taichung. The most famous attraction on campus is the Luce Memorial Chapel, which is shaped like praying hands and quietly blesses the students. Students come and go during class time, and tourists flock to the chapel on holidays. There are also many pictures of parents and children interacting intimately and sharing family happiness.
