The Taichung Literature Museum was originally a police dormitory during the Japanese colonial period. In order to revitalize the historical building, the entire museum was opened to the public on August 26, 2016. There are 6 buildings in total, including a permanent museum, a theme special exhibition hall, a study lecture hall, a theme restaurant, a children's literature area and an administrative center. With "Taichung Literature" as the theme, we promote local culture and allow literature to enter daily life. The Taichung Literature Museum is the first public museum in Taichung with literature as its theme, and is also a great place for literary youth to relax.
