Gaomei Wetland (Gaomei Wildlife Reserve) is located on the south side of the Dajia River estuary in Qingshui, covering an area of 701.3 hectares. It has rich natural resources and is one of the few collective breeding areas for geese and ducks in China. There are more than 120 bird species that have inhabited Gaomei Wetland, making it an important ecological conservation area. It has gradually replaced Dadu Creek Estuary and become a new bird-watching route for bird-watching enthusiasts.
