The Hehuanshan International Dark Sky Park is located on the highest peak in the central region of Taiwan. It is the highest point accessible by road in Taiwan. It covers five major stargazing spots along the way, including Yuanfeng, Kunyang, Wuling, Songxuelou, and Xiaofengkou. It is the first stargazing park in Taiwan and the third in Asia certified by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA). The park not only has walls with planetary images, but also has the "Yuanfeng Stargazing Platform" designed specifically for stargazers, allowing visitors to enjoy a magical and romantic experience in a 360-degree, light-pollution-free space.

In addition to the outdoor park, a starry sky experience theater has been built. The spherical screen built therein can be used as a planetarium and can also be used for immersive interaction with tourists. The plot will have different endings every day depending on the time of visit. The theater content is also completely tailored to the Hehuan Mountain site, including local indigenous connotations, landscapes, and characteristic flora and fauna, allowing tourists to explore an astronomical fantasy journey with local characteristics.
