Japanese style spread. Taiwanese interpretation
Hugosum is named after its Hokkien homonym "good fruit" or "harmonious fruit", hoping for good results. The tea trees in the estate were planted by the Japanese, and the tea-making technology also follows the Japanese method. Currently, the second generation has inherited their father’s craftsmanship and tea-making techniques. In addition to making good tea with great care, they are also determined to make sure that good tea is seen and to create a new look for Sun Moon Lake black tea.

Make a different honey-flavored black tea
For more than 30 years, the head of the tea garden, Gao Zhaoxu, and his wife have been committed to developing and producing new tea products. The "honey-flavored black tea" with a unique taste is the specialty of Jiaming Tea Garden. Jia Ming researched Kung Fu black tea and broke the traditional practice of large-leaf black tea. It used the local small-leaf variety Large-leaf Oolong as the raw material, and fully fermented the buds of tea after being sucked by small green leaf cicadas. The tea soup is champagne-colored and exudes a honey flavor, so Jia Ming named it "Honey Fragrance Black Tea" and won the World Gold Medal in 2006.

Taitung's Organic Tea Road
The tea garden and the layers of mountains are interwoven to form a verdant landscape. Under the planning of the person in charge, Chen Lixue, this nearly 15-acre organic tea garden has become a tea experience area. Jia Fang Tea Garden once faced a crisis, but through hard work and active transformation, in 2008, it used the technology of the Taitung branch of the Tea Improvement Plant to produce red oolong tea from Qingxin Damo, completely changing the stereotype of organic tea.
